Sun 24 July Annual BBQ Re-enactment Event.

This year's theme will be: Prehistoric Rocks and Rolls

Create your own rock art with help from Paul Bowers
together with a look at Stone Age querns and arrows.

The rolls will be part of the BBQ!

27 Oct   Talk by Dr. Ian Pearce: The Great Ayton Community Archaeology Project.
         

24 Nov Buildings Archaeology Evening - Derek Gaunt and Malcolm Barnes.

Practical Work

Jan, Feb, Mar: Continuing post-excavation work.

Apr, May, June: Resumption of Wray Wood earthwork dig and test-pitting.

Mid-Aug to Late-Sept (stubble time): excavation of ‘geophys’ targets on arable field.

Late Sept/Oct: fieldwalking and/or flint surveys.

Nov onwards: post-excavation work and finds processing.
